About the Role
As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a vital role in our Business Advisory Division, working closely with experienced managers and engaging directly with clients. This position is perfect for someone passionate about numbers and eager to grow professionally while contributing to our shared values.
Your Responsibilities:
- Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies.
- Preparation of business summaries, rental property details, dividends, and trust distributions.
- Managing and lodging BAS, IAS, and GST reconciliations.
- Compiling and analysing accounts for financial reporting.
- Balancing subsidiary accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing and lodging financials for investment trusts, trading trusts, investment companies, and trading companies.
- Handling Div 7A/UPE loan summaries, including interest and repayment calculations.
- Correspondence with the ATO, including lodgment extensions, penalty remissions, and GIC.
- Analysing and preparing tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
