Job Description
Description of the role:
Reporting to Advisors and Partners, the Family Office Associate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality family office and investment administration services. This position will involve portfolio administration, report preparation, compliance support, client service and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Collate and review data relating to client investment portfolios
Assist with report writing, including Investment Policy Statements, portfolio reports and strategic asset allocation recommendations
Support the Family Office Investment Committee with agendas, fund manager coordination, minutes and action items
Assist with implementation of portfolio changes following review processes
Maintain accurate client data in Xplan
Prepare and lodge fee consent applications and support administrative compliance requirements
Ensure AML/CTF requirements are current and up to date
Liaise with family office fund managers and other service providers
Prepare background materials for Advisor and Partner meetings
Provide proactive, professional and responsive client service
Assist Advisors and Partners in identifying cross-selling opportunities within the client base
Desired Skills and Experience
What makes you ‘just right’:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
1–2+ years’ experience in a similar administrative or client support role
Relevant qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline will be highly regarded
Previous experience in professional services, financial services, banking or investment environments
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Experience with Xplan / IressFE and Analytics or similar investment platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
