Job Description
As part of our growing Wealth Advisory division, we’re looking for a Review Paraplanner to join our Family Office team. If you're passionate about client service, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key member of our Family Office team, you will support our advisors by preparing high-quality documentation, coordinating portfolio reviews, and ensuring seamless client service. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing data and documentation for client portfolio reviews
Writing and reviewing Statements of Advice and Records of Advice
Supporting implementation of portfolio changes post-review
Preparing and lodging investment and managed fund applications
Updating and maintaining client data in Xplan
Managing fee consent forms and ensuring compliance standards are met
Liaising with fund managers, insurers, and internal stakeholders
Ensuring time recording, costing, and documentation are up to date
Proactively supporting client relationships through trust-building and responsive service
Assisting with cross-functional collaboration across the firm for a ‘one view’ client experience
Preparing briefing material for Advisors and Partners
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring:
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Financial Planning, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or currently studying (desirable)
Willingness to complete a national police check
Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar paraplanning or financial services support role
Strong understanding of financial services and investment products
Previous experience in professional services, wealth, or banking environments
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion
Client-first mindset with a passion for quality service
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Working knowledge of Xplan/Iress (essential)
Familiarity with APS, Worksorted, Virtual Cabinet, and Zoom (desirable)
